Pellet Cooler Biomass Pellet Plant

PELLETINDIA Counter-Current Pellet Cooler Features

Efficient Cooling for Quality Products:

  • Optimal Temperature Reduction: The counter-current airflow cools freshly made pellets from 70-90 °C to 5-10 °C above ambient temperature, ensuring pellets are safely cooled without damaging their structure.

Homogeneous Cooling for Consistent Quality:

  • Conical Bottom Design: The conical bottom of the cooler ensures even distribution of hot pellets across the entire cross-section of the cooling chamber. This uniform layer allows consistent cooling, delivering high-quality pellets with a uniform finish.

Reduced Pellet Breakage and Minimal Residue:

  • Smooth Discharge System: Featuring air cushions and a vibration motor, the discharge system ensures a smooth flow of pellets into the hopper. This design minimizes pellet breakage and leaves almost no residues, improving overall efficiency and reducing waste.

PELLETINDIA Pellet Cooler Specifications:

  • Capacity: Available up to 20 TPH (tons per hour).

Cooling Process Details:

  • Modular Body for Easy Assembly: Designed for easy assembly and installation, featuring a modular body.
  • Efficient Cooling Entry: The airlock located at the product entry ensures an efficient air distribution system, enabling optimized cooling.
  • Homogeneous Product Distribution: Ensures even distribution of pellets for consistent cooling throughout the batch.
  • Discharging System: Options include mesh-modeled, motorized, or hydraulic drive systems.
  • Indicators: Equipped with both level and temperature indicators to ensure precise control during the cooling process.

Pellet Cooling Process Flow:

  1. Inlet Rotary Valve: Hot pellets from the pellet mill enter the pellet cooler bin via the rotary valve.
  2. Cooling Bin: Inside the bin, the pellets are cooled by a counterflow of air that enters through the discharge gate.
  3. Air Exit: Air leaves the bin through the air outlet, carrying away excess heat, while cooled pellets are discharged below.

The PELLETINDIA counter-current cooler is designed for efficient, homogeneous cooling to maintain the integrity and quality of biomass pellets.
